o The mentorship branch of the program grew organically as former professors and mentors began referring college students to me for guidance. Drawing on my legal background and sorority connections, I helped students find employment opportunities and supportive communities after graduation. Although this portion of the program is new, I have already partnered with a Black-owned employment agency and a local etiquette school to provide students with resources to prepare them for the workforce. Next summer, my network of mentors will guidegraduating seniors with shared career interests into their chosen fields. My mission remains profound yet straightforward: to ensure every student sees themselves as an invaluable treasure—worthy, capable, and rooted in a legacy of resilience. In 2026, I plan to formally establish this program as a nonprofit organization to expand its reach and impact.
